Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar

Method
 

  1. In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients.
  2. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  3. Simmer for 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Let cool slightly before using.

Notes

  • Add a pinch of cayenne for heat.
  • Add water to thin if needed.
  • Store in the fridge up to 1 week.
