This Ramen Noodle Lasagna bake is one of those recipes that make you stop and go, wait- seriously? But yes, it works. It’s saucy, cheesy, and shockingly delicious. And the best part? You don’t even need to boil the ramen.
I made this because I was curious if ramen noodles could work in place of lasagna noodles. Turns out, they do! They soften right in the sauce as it bakes.
My family didn’t know what to think when I told them what I was making with the ramen noodles, but they tried it anyway-and liked it. So here it is, on this blog. Proof that ramen noodles have officially entered the lasagna chat.
If you’re on a budget or just love trying weird-but-awesome food hacks, this recipe is for you. It tastes like lasagna, but takes way less effort and it uses pantry staples most people already have. The ramen softens as it bakes, the cheese gets melty, and honestly – It’s way better than it should be.
Ramen Noodle Lasagna Bake
Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 375℉
- In a skillet, add ground beef, onions and garlic
- Spread a little pasta sauce in th bottom of the 8×11 baking dish.
- Lay out all 4 packages of dry ramen noodles on top of the sauce.
- Pour the rest of the pasta sauce and water over the ramen noodles
- Spoon ricotta cheese over sauce, using the back of the spoon to spread it.
- Add ground beef mixture over the top.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheeses over the meat mixture.
- Now, sprinkle on Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
- Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
- Remove foil and continue baking for another 20 minutes, until bubbly.
- Let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Honest Opinion
Ramen noodle lasagna bake was definitely weird- but it worked. It tastes like lasagna the texture is different. A few crunchy spots, but nothing bad. The tweak would be to foil cover halfway through cook time.
