Homemade Spanish Rice (No Box Needed)

Have you ever had a good idea for dinner using Spanish Rice, only to find out that you don’t have a box of it? That exact thing happened to me, when I wanted to add Spanish rice to homemade burritos. I already had rice in the pantry, and I had the spices. I just didn’t have the box. So instead of running to the store, I figured how to make my own version – no box needed.

This simple homemade version uses pantry spices and regular white rice to create that classic boxed flavor.
