Mix all spices together in a small bowl.
Use immediately in your chili (no need to store unless you want to).
Yield: About 2 tablespoons, enough to season 1 pound of meat.
How to Use This Chili Seasoning
Brown 1 lb ground beef with onion and/or garlic (if using fresh).
Drain excess grease.
Add:
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
½ to 1 cup water or beef broth
chili seasoning mix
1 tablespoon vinegar (optional, but good)
beans if you want
Stir and simmer 15–30 minutes.
Taste and adjust salt if needed.
